Buying Guide: Key Purchase Considerations
- Guest count alignment: Match set size to your expected guest list and plan for a few extra plates and napkins to cover spillages.
- Plate size and use: Choose 7-inch dessert plates for light snacks or 9-inch plates for full meals; some sets offer both in one package.
- Durability vs. disposability: Thicker paperboards and 2-ply napkins provide sturdiness but are disposable; delicate designs may be more teardown-friendly but less durable.
- Design coherence: If you want a cohesive theme, select a kit with multiple plate sizes and matching napkins or utensils.
- Material safety: Look for food-grade materials and non-toxic inks; ensure napkins have adequate absorbency for messy treats.
- Ease of cleanup: Sets labeled as disposable can significantly reduce post-party cleanup time.
